Pony Racing
Both the Tynedale and the Braes of Derwent stage pony racing at their fixtures. It always proves very popular and is well supported. It provides youngsters bewteen the age of 9 and 15 with the opportunity of experiencing racing in the hope they may consider a racing career. The racing world is provided with many graduates who come up through the pony racing and point to point ranks.
Two pony races are staged at each fixture at Corbridge. One for ponies 138cm and under and the other for 148cm and under. Both races are run on the flat. For further information and rules and regulations please visit www.pra.gb.com
